RS PRO 50 Ω Straight Flange Mount SMA Connector, Jack, RG402/U, RG405/U

This female SMA receptacle from the RS PRO range is a sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector that can be used to join small coaxial cables together.

Coaxial cables (or coax cables) transmit RF signals from one point to another and are commonly found in homes and business to transmit signals between mobile telephone antennas and Wi-Fi networks. When used with a male connector, this flange mount SMA receptacle allows you to join two coax cables together quickly and easily.

The connector can be soldered onto flexible and semi-rigid cables and is available for the two most commonly used microwave cables – RG402/U and RG405/U. Soldered termination provides high-frequency performance at high power ratings in small diameters.

The connector also has a gold body and contact plating. This feature makes this high-quality product especially hardy, protecting it from wear associated with frequent insertions.
