To operate, it needs an internal solenoid to be energised before a guard can be opened and it remains locked until all equipment has stopped moving. This device has a supply voltage rating of 24V AC/DC and four contacts, consisting of two normally-closed safety contacts and two normally-open auxiliary contacts. It has a high holding force of 3,500N as well as an adjustable ball latch of 500N.
