If you need to guard machinery and prevent injury to personnel in hazardous areas, choose this non-contact safety switch from Schmersal. It makes two electrical connections when it senses that a coded magnetic actuator is in range. This coding adds an extra layer of security and means the switch can't be opened using a standard magnet. The unit has an ON distance of 5 to 8mm and an OPEN distance of 15 to 18mm. The device is enclosed in robust black thermoplastic and can be mounted in a concealed position. It's suitable for voltages of up to 100V AC/DC at up to 0.25A.
