Keep hazardous areas out of bounds with this non-contact safety switch from Schmersal. The device will break two electrical connections when it senses that the matching magnetic actuator is in position and the power to a machine needs to be cut. To prevent tampering, the actuator is coded so it can't be bypassed using a standard magnet. The switch has an ON distance of 5 to 8mm and an OFF distance of 15 to 18mm. It works with voltages of up to 60V AC/DC at up to 0.25A. You can buy the matching actuator (198-7863) separately.
