The high-quality Knipex MultiCrimp® crimping tool with 3 or 5 additional interchangeable crimping dies. These portable hand crimpers are designed to crimp connectors onto a multi-strand wire.
The crimping dies can be changed quickly and easily without additional tools. It is the only tool with the most common crimping applications in a holster, saving time and space while working. This crimper offers the same services as five pairs of crimping pliers in one tool.

The three interchangeable crimping dies in the round quick-change die compartment can be used in a wide range of applications:

- Non-insulated open plug connectors from 0.5 to 6 mm² (plug width 4.8 + 6.3 mm)
- Insulated cable lugs, plugs and butt connectors between 0.5 and 6 mm².
- Insulated and non-insulated end sleeves from 0.25 to 6 mm².

Maintenance tips :

Product maintenance

• To maintain proper operation and long service life, shafts and other moving parts should be lubricated regularly.


• Lubrication* is recommended at least every 10,000 cycles when the tool is exposed to dirt or other contaminants.


• The setting of the crimping die ranges should also be checked.


• Adjustment of the pressure setting pin is necessary when the tool preload decreases significantly.

*Use a light non-mineral oil.

Importance of high quality crimping
When a crimping tool is used on a terminal, two crimps take place at the same time. One is the electrical connection between the conductor and the terminal. The other is the crimping of the insulation, which relieves vibration and stress. It is important that the electrical connection is gas-tight with no voids between the wire strands and the lug. If there are voids, corrosion can occur, causing resistance and excessive heat that damages the electrical connection. Using a good quality crimping tool will ensure a complete gas tight crimp, preventing future deterioration of the electrical connection and insulation failure
