RS PRO Santoprene Cream Santoprene Tubing, 8 mm Bore Size, 3 m Long, Food Grade, Peristaltic Pump Compatible

Suitable for use with peristaltic pumps, this flexible cream-coloured santoprene tubing is non-toxic and food-grade. It prevents cross-contamination of the fluids that pass through it. You'll regularly find it in applications such as spray-coating dispensers.

Santoprene looks, feels and behaves like rubber, but has the benefits of a thermoplastic mix of polypropylene. This means it's durable and offers excellent long-term performance. Tubes made of santoprene are not only strong and supple, but they also have excellent sealing capabilities. This tube has an 8 mm bore size and comes in a length of three metres.

As part of the RS PRO range, the tubing has been stringently tested for reliability. It meets BS: 2848 standards for flexible insulated sleeving when used in electrical appliances. It can be used in a range of environments from laboratories to fermentation plants.
