Free Sockets - Straight with Cable Gland
These Scame Free Sockets are attached to a cable free end, rather than hard mounted, and are for use in industrial applications. The outer casing of these straight sockets is made from engineering plastic and has a cable gland design to provide external clamping. These industrial sockets conform to the latest requirements of British and European standards.

The 16A industrial sockets have an additional safety device like the protection installed on household sockets, i.e. by means of an appropriate shutter, it closes the input of the socket contact tubes and prevents accidental and voluntary contact of live parts of the socket with slim objects, such as screwdrivers or wires.
