Weller WXMP Soldering Iron Kit

This soldering iron kit consists of a WXMP micro iron, an RT3 soldering tip, and a WDH 50 stand, and is compatible across all WX stations (WX1, WX2, WX1010, and WX2020).

Features & Benefits:

• WXMP Intelligent micro iron for very small components with high energy demand and miniature works under a microscope, 12V input, 40W output.


• Temperature range: 100°C – 450°C.


• Heat-up time approx. 3 seconds.


• ESD-safe – electrostatic discharge is the transfer of an electric charge that occurs when two objects with different electric potentials due to charging or static induction come into contact. This can lead to product defects and/or equipment failures. This product is protected from electrostatic discharge.


• Active Tip (Cartridge)-System allows exchange of soldering iron tips despite hot soldering iron.


• LED signal function provides visual process control.


• Short tip-to-grip distance of only 45mm increases precision for highly-detailed work.


• Iron powers down when placed in the holder to extend tip life and avoid injury/damage.


• Can be used for leaded and lead-free soldering.
