RS PRO Carbon Steel Female Hydraulic Quick Connect Coupling, RP 1/2 Female

This quick-connect coupler from RS PRO is designed to be attached to the end of an existing hose using the built-in 1/2 inch screw thread. A matching plug can then be connected to the coupler, with the quick release allowing for easy changes between tools. The connector will maintain high-static pressure even when no plug is attached – however, we recommend against connecting or disconnecting when the system is pressurised. A dual seal design of nitrile and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) ensures redundancy in the leak protection.
The coupler is intended for use in industrial or automotive environments and is designed to be hardwearing and resilient. The rear side is made in a hex shape to allow it to be easily gripped with a spanner for tightening it onto the hose's screw thread.
