How much protection can these wall mount boxes provide?

Having an ingress protection of IP65, all models are completely protected against any dust which may harm sensitive equipment. No dirt or small particles will be able to enter the enclosure whilst sealed. The excellent protection rating also ensures great water resistance and sufficiency against low pressure water jets.

Is this wall box lockable?

This particular box comes with a standard key lock for extra security and safety. Having a wall box under lock and key is useful in various situations where the contents either need to be secured or only accessed by experienced individuals

This steel wall box comes standard with a glavanised steel back plate, earth studs and top & bottom gland plates. A number of additional accessories can be purchased separately, including:

• 746-7384 - An earth strap, for grounding the box itself if the content and electrical
• 746-7387 - Mounting brackets, which are suitable for fixing the box to a suitable surface or wall
