Enhance your machine guard door with the 440N-G02119 GD2 Ferrogard Magnetic Non-Contact Safety Switch by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. This versatile magnetically actuated safety switch combines the reliability of non-contact switches with a high tolerance to guard door misalignment, giving you optimal protection. It is perfect for use with hinged, sliding, and lift-off safety guards.

How it works: The magnetic actuator is withdrawn from the switch when the safety barrier is released. This opens the NC safety contacts which then isolates power to the machine. This ensures that machinery cannot run while the guard is open and that personnel cannot access a potentially hazardous area.

The 440N-G02119 Ferrogard safety interlock switch has 2NC safety contacts and features a 3m cable. The safety contact switching capability is 24V dc, 1A max. It also has FRS 20 GD2 housing and is IP68 (NEMA 6P) rated, which ensures that it is fully protected against ingress of dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water. The tough stainless-steel housing provides extra protection against impacts, offering greater durability. The operating distance for this safety switch is 12mm (make), 23mm (break). The Ferrogard switches also have protected safety contacts to help ensure that they do not fail to danger.
