The 440N-S32047 Sipha Magnetic Non-Contact Switch provides highly reliable safe-access to machinery and is an ideal solution for your safety system.

This Sipha safety switch is highly tamper-resistant as it features magnetically sensitive elements which must be activated in a specific order to operate correctly, ensuring superior reliability and security for complex applications. It cannot be defeated by a simple magnet. When the safety barrier is released the power is isolated, which prevents dangerous machinery from running while personnel have access and decreases the risk of injury.

The 440N-S32047 Sipha safety switch has 1NC/1NO safety contacts, 1NC auxiliary contact, and an 8 Pin Micro (M12) connector. It has S4 stainless-steel housing, ensuring high durability. The sensing distance is 10mm (make), 13mm (break), and the supply voltage is 250VAC and 300VDC. This dependable unit is sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P) which makes it highly suitable for use in wash-down environments as it is water-tight. It is also protected against dust ingress. The switch can be used with hinged, sliding, and lift-off machine guards.

The Sipha sensor must be connected to the control unit to give a monitored circuit. The control unit can be used with a single sensor to provide a high-integrity system for high risk applications. It has facilities for connecting a manual reset button and monitoring external devices such as contactors.
