The Sensaguard safety switches have advanced latest generation Radio Frequency Identification technology for coding and inductive technology for sensing, making them highly tamper resistant and dependable. They feature a wide sensing range and tolerance to door misalignment. Designed to be installed on machine guard doors, these non-contact switches offer a superior level of security and protection to reduce risk of injury, damage to equipment, and overall downtime. The Sensaguard range is perfectly suited to meet a wide range of industrial applications.

440N-Z21US2H Safety Switch

The 440N-Z21US2H Sensaguard Safety Switch comes with a unique coded actuator and has an assured sensing distance of 18mm. It has a 6 inch Pigtail with 8- pin Micro (M12) connector. Door status indication and diagnostics is fast and easy due to the LED indicator on the switch. This unit is highly suitable for use with sliding, hinged, and lift-off safety guards.

This non-contact safety switch can be connected standard safety relays, SmartGuards and safety I/O blocks. It maintains PLe, SIL 3, Cat 4 rating even with multiple units connected in series. It also has an excellent IP69K rating, which ensures that it can withstand high pressure wash-downs and is also fully dust-tight.

Note: This device can be used with Guardlink, a new safety linking technology from Allen Bradley Guardmaster. Guardlink simplifies and reduces the connection time of the safety system, whilst providing real-time diagnostic information over Ethernet IP. This makes it simple to identify the location of the device that has tripped the system, thus reducing downtime, and improving the machines overall efficiency. What is RFID?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, which is a non-contact method of transferring digital data via radio frequency waves. Devices with this type of wireless communication usually consist of an RFID tag, an RFID reader, and an antenna. The tag transmits data when triggered by an electromagnetic pulse from the reader. This technology is used widely in many industries, for example with tracking inventory goods, personnel tracking and identification, and restricted area access. Non-contact switches with this technology are highly tamper-proof as they cannot be manipulated, providing a higher level of security.
