Panasonic Detector Switches - ESE Series

Detector Switches are used to detect mechanical movements and convert those or human manual operations, such as the closing of a mobile phone, to electronic signals. In some applications Detector Switches have been used to replace Encoders as a low cost solution.
This range of Detector Switches use a mechanical sliding spring design to ensure consistent signal output. They also have features that include long travel, thin profile, small \nsize, various actuation angles and surface mount or J-bent terminal mounting options.
Detector Switches can be used in many applications that require detection of mechanical movement, e.g. battery insertion and door closure in hand held devices, consumer electronics, computer/peripherals, telecommunications, appliances, instrumentation and many more.
