A range of thermocouple extension leads in types K, J, T and N available with either a miniature or standard IEC connector. The thermocouple extension leads are available in 2 m, 5 m and 10 m lengths.

Working with temperature sensing equipment and need to extend a thermocouple cable? This 5 m Type K thermocouple extension cable has an effective operating range of up to +220˚C without melting and down to -10˚C without cracking. It's from our trusted RS PRO range and comes with a miniature connector plug and socket with two flat plug pins. The product is sheathed in insulating and durable PVC.

Internally, there are two cores with seven strands each with a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm². Polarised contacts help ensure you make a correct connection.

This product is colour-coded in accordance with the IEC scheme and has been stringently tested to ensure it meets IEC standards as a safe thermocouple cable. It won't damage equipment due to electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). RoHS compliant, it contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances.
