This IEC309-type 2-pin plus Earth socket from the Scame range is IP66 and IP67 rated, meaning it's totally dust tight and will withstand submersion in water. It has robust screw terminals and features housing manufactured from halogen-free plastic to reduce the risk of dangerous emissions in the event of a fire.

The industrial power connector has a minimum operating temperature of -25˚C and a maximum of +40˚C. It's voltage rated at 230 V and current rated at 16 A, with an insulation resistance rating of 500 / 690V.

The socket has been exhaustively tested to ensure it's both safe and reliable, meeting European standards as a socket suitable for industrial use (EN60309-1, EN60309-2). What's more, it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) and contains only minimal hazardous substances (RoHS).
