RS PRO’s flame-retardant polypropylene plastic film offers a tough and reliable insulation solution for many industries. It's recognised by the world-leading safety tester, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), as safe for use in electrical systems.

Featuring excellent dielectric strength of 1460 kV/mm, this flexible plastic film provides effective electrical insulation. Its non-hygroscopic qualities mean it absorbs less than 0.1% of moisture. The electrical insulating film has a density of 1035 kg/m³ and displays resilient dielectric breakdown, helping to shield against electrical surges.

Polypropylene (PP) film is a thin and lightweight thermoplastic film. Favoured for its strength, it can be scored or folded easily to suit your needs and won't split or crack. Thanks to its flame retardance and chemical resistance, it makes a robust and cost-effective choice for use as robust insulation in industrial environments.
