Schneider Electric | Acti9 iC60H | Mini Circuit Breakers
The Acti9 series of MCBs by Schneider Electric provides excellent circuit protection particularly in combating short circuits and overload currents. These MCBs are rigorously tested by Schneider and are compliant with standards such as IEC/EN 60898 & 60947-2. These types of MCBs are typically used in industrial or commercial buildings and can work extremely well in polluted environments.
Features and benefits:
- Easy to install these consumer units, single clip on to Din Rail, compact in nature making wiring easier and simplifying your circuit system. Ergonomically designed with robust connections. IP20B terminal shutters.
- Schneider 'VisiSafe' for safer operation and maintenance work on electrical circuits. Absolute safety of circuit protection guaranteed.
- Schneider 'VisiTrip' for easier fault detection in the MCB outgoers. This can help reduce intervention time greatly, protecting the device before any further electrical problems occur.
- 1P (number of protected poles).
- Nominal currents ranging from 1 to 63 Amps.
- Full compatibility with Acti 9 RCDs and MCCBs.
- Operating voltage up to 440 V ac, insulation voltage 500 V.
- Additional add-on earth leakage protection devices are available. This offers you better continuity of service.
- Schneider Green Premium classed product.

- Operating temperature (for operation) -35 to 70 ° C.
- Padlockable, providing extra protection.
Applications.
- DC current circuit protection / Motor circuit protection.
- Polluted environments/networks.
- Any circuit types within industrial/commercial buildings.
Q&A: What is the differences in the Tripping Curves B, C, and D?
- Curve B: Tripping: 3 to 5 times the rated current.
- Applications: protection of generators, persons, very long cables
- Curve C: Tripping: 5 to 10 times the rated current
- Applications: protection of circuits and general applications
- Curve D: Tripping: 10 to 14 times the rated current
- Applications: protection of high surge circuits, welders, transformers and motors
The Acti9 come in either Curve B , C or D. Please refer to specifications for specific type.
Schneider Electric MCB, 16A Current Rating, DIN Rail Mounting - Acti9 Series - A9F53116
Are electrical hazards tripping up your system? Smooth things out with this MCB from Schneider Electric. It's a miniature device that packs a punch, as it offers protection against short circuits, earth leakages and overload currents. This makes the breaker just what you need to safeguard industrial equipment against electrical damage, as well as to protect people against electric shocks. It's a straightforward unit with handy screw terminals, so wiring's a cinch. As it clips onto a DIN rail, installation is quick. You can take the guesswork out of fault detection, thanks to its Visi-Trip window that shows clearly when a circuit has tripped.
Features & Benefits
• Compact dimensions of 85 (H) x 18 (W) x 78.5mm (D) to maximise circuit board packing efficiency
• IP20-rated terminals are touch-proof and protected against objects larger than 12mm
• Toggle switch makes the unit easy to reset manually
Applications
• Food packaging
• Warehouses and self-storage facilities
• Automated production lines
Can I lock this MCB?
Yes, for safety you can secure this MCB with a padlock, which reduces the risk of tampering.
