Allen Bradley GuardMaster Non-Contact Switch

The Allen Bradley GuardMaster 440N series magnetic safety switch has a supply voltage rating of 24VDC at 1A current. This switch comes with FRS21GD2 housings and a 6m cable. It offers reliability together with tolerance to misalignment. It is designed to be installed so that when a guard door is opened, the action of the magnetic actuator being removed from the switch opens the NC safety contacts which are intended for the isolation of control power to a machine primary control element. This switch has a stainless steel housing for added protection against inadvertent impacts to the housing. Unlike some magnetic switches, it has protected safety contacts to help ensure that it does not fail in case of danger.
Note:
This safety device can be used with Guardlink, a new safety linking technology from Allen Bradley GuardMaster. Guardlink simplifies and reduces the connection time of the safety system, whilst providing real-time diagnostic information over an Ethernet IP. This makes it simple to identify the location of the device that has tripped the safety system, thus reducing downtime and improving the machines overall efficiency.
