The innovative Ferrogard range of magnetically actuated safety switches have increased tolerance to door misalignment, in addition to the reliability of non-contact switches. This device helps to protect your personnel by cutting off power to a machine which is in motion when the safety barrier is released, thereby preventing access to a hazardous area. It is designed so that the magnetic actuator is removed from the switch when the guard door is opened, which opens the NC safety contacts.

The contacts are fully sealed to meet IP68 (NEMA 6P) requirements, making them ideal for wet environments as they can withstand powerful jets of water and are dust tight. Unlike other magnetic safety switches they have protected safety contacts to ensure that they do not fail to danger and have internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact.
