Osram Luminux T8 Fluorescent Tubes

Osram Lumilux T8 fluorescent tubes are energy efficient fluorescent lamps. They meet standard T8 sizing, which means they are tubular with a 26 mm diameter. These fluorescent tubes feature a G13 base. This series is available in a range of colours from 2700 K all the way through to 8000 K.
They feature proven lamp technology and are an economical and efficient solution.

Product Applications:

Typical applications include office lighting, shops, supermarkets and factories. Lumilux T8 lamps can be used in some outdoor applications, but this is dependent on the luminaire being used.

Warning

A lamp breaking is extremely unlikely to have any adverse effects on your health. However, if a lamp breaks, you should ventilate the room for 30 minutes before removing the parts (preferably with gloves on). The parts should be taken for recycling at your local waste facility.

4050300517919 is a 36 watt T8 fluorescent tube. This bulb provides a lumilux interna colour with a colour temperature rating of 2700 K. This colour is excellent in bringing out the colour of wood, making it perfect for installing in furniture and for use in indirect lighting. It is a warm coloured light. This fluorescent lamp creates 3350 lumens (lm) of luminous flux and has a colour rending index (Ra) of 80.

This T8 fluorescent tube is dimmable, giving you greater control over the lighting in your environment. Although this lamp is primarily used indoors, it can be used for some outdoor applications in suitable luminaires.

This fluorescent tube meets EU energy efficiency class A+ requirements and has energy consumption of 43 kWh/1000h.

Fluorescent Triphosphor

Triphosphor tubes have longer life, a lower mercury content, better colour rendering and higher lumen maintenance than their Halophosphate counterparts. The tubes are available in a variety of colour temperatures from 3000K (warm white) to 6000K (daylight).

• Extended life expectancy which can be increased by upto 20,000 hours with the use of high frequency luminaires.
• Shatter resistant versions available which retain the fragments in the event of a breakage.
• Option of triphosphor tubes with internal reflectors, which reduce waste light and increase light output by up to 75%.
• 16mm (T5) tubes provide a compact alternative to T8 tubes, offering peak performance at +35 °C and typically provide 5% more efficiency in most ceiling applications when compared to equivalent T8 tubes.
