IDEM Non-Contact Switch

The IDEM CM3-Ex series non-contact switch has a switching distance of 10mm when closed and 22mm when opened. It has 2NO safety and 1NO auxiliary contacts. It provides explosion-proof switching for hazardous conditions created within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and packaging industries. This switch is made from stainless steel 316. These safety switches are developed for non-contact guard door interlocking of hinged, sliding or removable guard doors. The magnetic sensing of these safety switches provides a wide sensing distance and high tolerance to misalignment after sensing.
Note:
The normally closed (NC) circuits are closed when the guard is closed and the actuator is present.
