Eaton Cartridge Fuse, 20A, 250V AC - MDA Series - MDA-20-R

Use this cartridge fuse from Eaton's Eaton range to safely and effectively cut an electrical circuit in case of overload. Accommodating up to 250V (volts) of AC (alternating current) voltage, it's a reliable choice for protecting circuits, preventing damage to machinery and limiting the risk of fire. The cartridge fuse has a ceramic body that provides a high breaking capacity and improved arc protection. Nickel-plated brass endcaps offer excellent conductivity, so you be sure of strong connections.

How does a fuse work?

Fuses are sacrificial devices that 'break' to protect attached equipment from dangerous overcurrent conditions. They have a thin filament of wire held between two metal endcaps. If too much current flows through, the wire melts and the circuit is broken.

Is this a fast-acting fuse?

This fuse is a class T fuse, which means it's slow-burning. This allows harmless current peaks without breaking the circuit, while persistent overloads will cause the fuse to open.
