Allen Bradley Guardmaster Lifeline Rope Tensioner System (LRTS)

Save yourself time and effort when installing your cable-actuated safety system by using the innovative Lifeline Rope Tensioning System (LRTS) by Allen Bradley Guardmaster.

The LRTS is a unique tensioning system designed to enable easy, speedy, and efficient set-up of rope actuated systems, while other methods can be awkward and time-consuming. The LRTS is compatible with most rope switches including the 440E range. The wire is tensioned by turning the setting bolt on the tensioner with a hexagon key.

440E Switches: The Allen Bradley Guardmaster 440E Rope Pull Switches have a steel wire rope which is connected to latching pull switches, so that when the rope is pulled in any direction along the length the switch is instantly tripped to stop the moving apparatus, minimising risk of injury and risk of damage to equipment.

440E-A17105 Tensioner and Hexagon Key

The 440E-A17105 is the Tensioner and Allen Key for the LRTS. It is comprised of durable glass-filled nylon and is yellow to ensure easy visibility when setting up the rope pull system.

What is a cable pull switch?

A cable pull switch, also known as grab wire switches or rope pull switches, are a common type of emergency stop and safeguarding measure. They allow personnel to stop moving machinery anywhere along its length instead of at just one point on the apparatus and can be used over a long distance. This is useful if there is a chance that someone may become entangled in lengthy moving machinery, such as conveyor belts. These appliances are hung by a wire around the machinery and can be operated by pulling the cord. This isolates the circuit and stops the hazard.
