The Safedge can be cut into a number of lengths to guard different points. Closing Caps, Cable Connectors and Terminators (resistors) can be used to seal the Safedge system.

Closing Caps

stock no. 249-6172 is used to close 0110N profiles
stock no. 249-6239 is used to close 1610N profiles

Connector & Cable

Terminators

stock no. 873-2174 is a 6k resistor (yellow) for series termination
stock no. 873-2178 is a 15k resistor (blue) for parallel termination

Does this resistor provide ingress protection for my safety device?

No, the resistor doesn't provide ingress protection by itself. If you need to secure your devices against contamination, you should use extra adhesive around the edges of your sensors when installing the resistor to ensure a strong seal.
