Allen Bradley Guardmaster Safety Interlock Switch

The Allen Bradley Guardmaster 440G-MT series positive mode, tongue operated safety interlock switch has a supply voltage rating of 24VAC/DC. It has 3NC/1NO contacts. This has a machine guard closed until power is isolated when the guard is open. However, the guard can only be opened when a signal is applied to the internal solenoid that releases the lock mechanism. The locking mechanism of this switch is designed to withstand forces up to 1600N (360lb). It is designed for machines that do not stop immediately or where premature interruption of the machine could cause damage to tooling and components or cause an additional hazard.
Note:
This safety device can be used with GuardLink, a new safety linking technology from Allen Bradley Guardmaster. GuardLink simplifies and reduces the connection time of the safety system while providing real-time diagnostic information over Ethernet IP. This makes it simple to identify the location of the device that has tripped the safety system, thus reducing downtime and improving the machines overall efficiency.
