The connector can be mounted from front or back and has a low rear profile to save space. A straight body orientation makes for easy installation. The nickel-plated steel shell stands up to corrosion, while gold-plated contacts ensure accurate data transmission, with maximum contact resistance of 50 mΩ. It's voltage-rated at 30 V ac and current-rated at 1.5 A. It will operate within a temperature range of -20˚C to 50˚C and is dielectric withstanding voltage tested to 500 V ac.

As this connector has been stringently tested against international standards, you can be sure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). It's also compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards.
